Lebanon Iowa July 8/58 Mr Weaver, My own, my dearest friend why have you not written? Yesterday I walked three quarters of a mile to the office for a letter but there was none, & now I am again at the office disappointed. In my letter to you I forgot to tell you where to direct a letter, but I thought you would know from the post master & I thought you knew that Indian Prairie & Lebanon were the same. I cannot think of any other reason why you have not written Yesterday when the boy told me there was not letter I told him he must be mistaken. I was so
