Didn't I ever give you my estimate on Germany? At that time it was this: Germany will be in a bad way by Christmas and probably out of the war next spring in April or May. Though she might hold out until next August. Germany must hold out against the Russians until she has the opportunity to surrender to England or the U.S. You and I know what the Russians will do to the Germans if they get into Germany and so do the Germans.
