Monday 16 August [1943] Dearest: I'm glad to hear you say that you will not allow L.N. to add to your burdens. Don't hesitate to let it ride if you are tired and remember that I do expect you to keep it up. If Helm wants to disband the CSPC, I suppose it will probably be disbanded. He is a powerful influence within N.A.P.A. I don't think he was ever in favor of it .... very much anyway. I don't like to see it die but perhaps it's just as well. This much is certain you cannot carry that too. When we get settled we can organize a Michigan or a Mid West Association or
