If I become an instructor it is unlikely that I will get a furlough in the fall but might possibly get one around Christmas. On the other hand if I am sent to combat I will likely be given a furlough. In that I will come home to you as last time. I'd want to spend a day or two in Michigan but that would be all. I won't know until the day before or that very day if I get a furlough or not. So we'll just have to wait and see what. It's a couple of months off yet anyway. That song is right ... and so are you ... I'd be lost but for loving you, B.J.
