-4 I haven't bought any bonds for September yet because I thought it best to hang onto my cash .... in case of getting leave etc. I have $150 right now and I figure I ought to be able to buy about 5 bonds out of that and still have enough left to come home on. From now on I'll be getting $150 per month base pay and $75 a month flight pay plus money for room and board. I figure I ought to live on $100 a month easy. That means I can send you about 6 bonds a month once I get started. Of course, this being an officer may cost more than I can tell. You
