-8 varying degrees and sorts for all kinds of things.... friends, lodges, books, projects. (I sometimes wonder if woman is capable of more than one real love at a time, I don't know.) But in his heart a man cherishes the woman of his choice above all else. He is clumsy enough not always to show it or to realize that she requires constant proof of it. Hence much jealousy if she is not understanding and tolerant enough to realize that. This I know, my love for you tops all else ... and I shall always endeavor to show it; but should I sometimes lapse into man's most common fault, I shall hope for tolerance and understanding on your part.
