10/15/43 Thursday Dearest: Do you ever have that blank feeling when you just can't think of much in particular? I guess I got such a mood now. I sit and no coherent thoughts come up. I think of you and a sort of warm glow permeates me like a gentle wine ... a generally comfortable feeling; but no thought's that write a letter. I guess you'll just have to be satisfied with my love tonight. There's lots of it; I enclose a sample which, in itself will weigh the mail man down as you can plainly see. It's love from, BJ.
