Friday 23 April 1943 Dearest: I have arrived here; got here yesterday morning. This has the reputation of being one of the toughest schools in the Air Force. And already I believe it. We are on duty from 5 a.m to 10 p.m. Actually on duty, not just awake. Schedule is: 5:00 a.m Revielle Formation 5 to 5:30 shave & clean-up 5:30 - 6 clean barracks 6 - 7 breakfast & announcements 7 - 12 classes 12 - 12:30 break 12 30 - 1:30 dinner 1:30 - 5:00 classes 5:30 - 6:00 break 6:00 - 9:30 classes 9:30 - 10:00 break 10:00 in bed, lights out
