Monday 6 July 1943 My dearest: I presume that about now you are at the Farewell Meeting and the Columbus Convention is almost history. I'd give a good deal to be with you. You start saving for Boston and so will I. I am hoping we will be able to go to Boston as Mr and Mrs Smith or, at least, have a date set by then. I don't think the convention would be a good place for a honeymoon
