Saturday P.M. Dearest: The afternoon session was short and sweet; Helm presided. It's all right about the Governor, (Lindstrom knows the Gov. personally) we got the reply today that he can't be with us, but it's all right about his being on the program even though not going to speak. I'm listening in on the proxy committee of which I'm ex-officio member. I was particularly interested in the proxy of C. L. L. Waters. I've been away for an hour and now they are to the Off. Editor and there seems to be no doubt I get it. I want to get the Exec. Judge vote. Let's see who else has arrived: I told you about the Martins & Lindstrom arriving; Alonzo Leonard came in but only caught the afternoon session which was terribly short. He's plump and settled-looking. -over
