Dewitt April 21st 18/62 Gov Baker Sir I was informed by Mr Bates P. M. that you was now at Clinton and as my Husband is engaged in the War he enlisted in the 4th Iowa Cavalry Regt and I have not heard from him for five weeks, they were then at St Louis when he wrote me last he said that they were a going to leave that day for Rolla if you will be so kind as to inform me of his whereabouts you will confer a great favor Yours Respectfully Mary A Wilbur (Please direct Dewitt Iowa to Mrs. Mary A. Wilbur
