July 20 1883. Miss Walton, of [Museatine?], came very [unexpected?, crossed out] unecspectedly [Wendeday, crossed out] Wensday morning, as I was starting up town. She brought me several nice insects, quite a while ago she sent me some Polyphemus moth's eggs which have hatched and are quite large worms. Luke Camfield brought me a Tumus butterflie's worm yesterday, I put apple leaves in the box but I don't think it has eaten anything yet, but I hope it will for I never raised a worm of that kind. Two weeks ago yesterday I got the finest specimen I have in my collection, it was a Ceratocampa Regalis, I think next to that my two Drycampa Imperialis are prephaps the [firriest?], unless a small white butterfly which is rarer it is not so handsome but it is very odd, I found two of them last fall so I gave one of them to Miss Walton but she could not find out any thing about, I am going to ask the first person I meet that knows anything about such things if they
