Vassar College, Oct. 11, /84. Here I am finally and lastly established! Clara and I have a room by ourselves. No. 94, 4th south center. We have a bedroom with two beds in it and a small study parlor. The greatest objection we have to our rooms is that we have to come through our bedroom to get into our parlor. I was in my dark underskirt and white under waist one night when Miss Marshal and Miss Patterson came to see us about joining the Exerteric society. Having put on my night gown I went back in and sat down. We finally joined and I have our spread already in rooms J and I. Clara was sick so did not go. We had ice cream and cake. I am taking Algebra, Rhetoric, and Latin. Teachers; first Miss Davis; second Miss Brewer; third Miss Abbot. Miss D-, and Miss B-, splendid, Miss A-, to cross to [hie?]. Clara has just gone to a meeting of "the Religous Inquiry with a girl
