Willametta Turnepseed 202 Roseland East Springfield, Ohio -2 were lost, so now I'll not breathe easily until I get a letter from you dated Sept. 12th. So now you see why I want notes from you every day, and why I don't insist that they be more than reassurances. You are under a terrible strain, but have relief in action, in knowing what's happening, and in feeling an assurance that all is well here. I'm under the same, or a similar strain, with only the doubtful relief of working. This past two weeks I have had only 3 letters at wide intervals, and no word at all for 4 days. Don't wait 'til you have time for a letter; I only want assurances! You can't be so busy that there's no time for half-a-dozen words. By now I'm getting jittery, and the feeling that you are "probably all right" is weak comfort. Do right and do write. Love, Willametta
