50 John Reed, Co. "C." killed John Lamont, Co. "B" wounded Sergt. Mackey, Co. "I." " Franklin Weary, of Company "A", was thrown from a maule and badly hurt. Thursday May 26th 1864 The regiment was relieved from picket duty this morning, at 10 o'clock. For some unexplained reason three days rations were issued to last five days, ending on the 31st. Orders have been received to be ready to move at eleven o'clock tonight - Did not move. Friday 27th The regiment was on the march, with the Corps, at the appointed time this A.M. Passed Carmal Church at 12 oclock, noon. - The movement seems to
