Rudisill Corporal " I Saturday June 4th About three oclock this morning we shifted to the left about two miles and occupied the rifle pits vacated by the Second Corps on our arival. Report has it that 10000 troops have arived today. While on the march to relieve the 2nd Corps I had occasion to leave the ranks and in order to catch up I undertook to cross a knoll which lay between me and the troops. When near the top a staff
