109 morning, when we moved off to the left flank and threw up a line of earth works, after which we moved back, in the direction we came, about half a mile and encamped. Lieut. Daniel Snyder, of Company B. received notice, through the Regimental Commander, of his being dishonorably discharged. Sentence of the Court Martial being approved by the Commanding General. Thursday 8th The sentence of Lieut. Snyder as promulgated today allows him full pay to date of the order. Faust and I fixed up comfortable quarters. Our new regimental Sutler joined the regiment and opened his store. I loaned him the Commissary scales.
