135 Near Peeble's House, Va. Monday, Oct. 31. 1864 At the regular hour for drill the Companies formed and some of them had alrady gone out when they were recalled and ordered to prepare for Inspection and Muster. At 10 oclock, A.M. Captain Brumm mustered the regiment for pay to cover months of September and October. Quarter Master Eckel issued shoes, some of which had gum soles and heels. The regimental Sutler having moved back to the wagon trains when we moved to Hatcher's run, came back to the regiment today. Tuesday Nov 1 Commanded Company H. during Company and Battalion drill.
