146 Edward Wilbur as 2nd Lieut. Co. I. Wm Taylor ,, ,, ,, ,, K Brigade Inspected by General Wilcox. Had an interview with Captain Brumm, as to the reason that no Commission had been received for me, who was the ranking Sergeant of the regiment. His reply was that he had recommended me for a Commission as 1st Lieutenant in Company F and that he had no doubt it would be along soon. Monday 28th On Brigade drill as right guide of Company H. Tuesday 29th Left our Camp on Pegram farm at 11 oclock this morning and arived at Fort McGilvery after dark - a march of about ten miles.
