172 Fort McGilvery, Va. Monday, Jan'y 23rd 1865 Made out Final statement of the accounts of Wendal Kirch and Anthony Christ of Company F, and mailed them to Adjutant General L. Thomas, Washington, D.C. Tuesday 24th On duty as Officer of the Guard Very heavy shelling on our right. Made out statement in the case of Thomas and Frederick Deemer, of Co. F. and sent it to Dr. Wheeler. Received notice of the death of Private Fredk Thurnhurst, Company F, who died at Baltimore, Md., on the 7th instant, of Pneumonia and Diarrhoea.
