184 Fort McGilvery, Va. Tuesday February 14th 1865 Adjutant Henry T. Kendall started for home this morning at 5 oclock. Received word that the Recruits, or drafted men sent us yesterday, belong to the 51st Penna. Regiment and the men intended for us were sent to that regiment. Wednesday 15th Received notice, from the Quarter Master Department, Washington, D.C., that F Thurnhurst drew one pair of Pants, before he died which are not charged on the Final statement. Detailed for picket tonight and tomorrow, to be in charge of the 1st Michigan and 50th Penna. details.
