June, SATURDAY, 11, 1864. recd orders to be ready to march @ 8 am, struck tents [in?] 9 were under marching orders all day (Vertically, at left:-) had a heavy rain @ 8 Am. SUNDAY, 12. lay quietly in Camp all day & it rained nearly all day stood guard one hour @ night MONDAY, 13. had a very rainy day had orders to march but did not move
