June, SUNDAY, 26, 1864. very warm George Mason returned to the Co I recd a letter from Albert & 1 from Gine wrote 1 to [Leah?] 1 to Leander &, one to Lydia Johnson was on picket all night MONDAY, 27. was relieved from picket in The morning we manouvered around until about 9 oClock & advanced on the enemy More Co.J was wounded had some heavy artillery firing TUESDAY, 28. arose @ daybreak having slept very well through the night recd. A pr. socks from home with some maple sugar Mcbride Co.E was killed patrick Garvey Co E Shot himself in the finger
