Beautiful warm day I go out for wood John Dall of E" Co" 17th Iowa go to the Hospital in stockade WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 1 Sumter Prison Ga I wash my clothes - get my hair and whiskers trimed and take a good wash Between one & two hundred Prisoners come in from Macon THURSDAY 2 Papers brought in camp speak of commissioners being sent to Washington to negociate for peace
