MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 1865. Sumter Prison Ga" Twenty six prisoners brought in to day Captured near Jacksonville Fla" Drew better rations of bread than common TUESDAY 7 Damp cold day and no wood to burn to keep us warm The day pass heavily WEDNESDAY 8 Beautiful day I go out for wood Rebels get up a report that the Prisoners have plotted to cut down the stockade to facilitate their escape - and in consequence took from them all their axes
