Guthrie Co" move out early and pass over a sick country between Redfield & Morrisburg - thence to Dales city & west over a very rough broken country Pass thro Dalmanutha yet in Guthrie County THURSDAY 24 Camp Homestead five miles S-west of Dalmanutha Enter Cass County at the Northeast corner & go in the direction of Lewis - Broken country Find some Government land Camped 6 miles from Lewis FRIDAY 25 Pass through Lewis thence south into Mongomery Co passing thro' the corner of Pottowattamie Co" Find land as low as two dollars per acre - Rough country Camp 4 miles from Frankford
