(3) We wash all over once a week with another preperation of his which is certainly the best preparation for (illegible) and smoothing the skin I ever saw. Take a piece of borax about as large as a hazle nut & a teaspoonful of soda and dissolve them in a quart of water and wash your face and body. You would be delyted with it. Wash with it often. O how I would love to see my boy and little Mona, Bless their dear little hearts. Truly we are the happiest family living. Praise our Heavenly Father for it all. Darling do you let my long absence from you change the warmth of your dear heart for me. I know it is very hard, but O I love you so ardently. It would surely kill me if I knew or even thought that you (illegible) me for not comeing home to you wen you were sick. I have cried many times about it May God spare us that I may be permitted to devote a whole life time to your happiness and comfort. I would rather serve God and make you happy than anything that could be thought of on this wide earth. Yes, ten thousand times rather. Train our little babies aright and teach them to love their father and mother. May God in his infinite mercy bless my family and preserve them from all harm. As soon as I get through this letter I will retire and pray to our Heavenly Father for our protection and preservation & that He may bless our souls. I retire in secret every night I can and pray ardently for your welfare. May God (illegible) you to live truly religious.
