Such mothers always give birth to great men, or rather great persons are always born of such women. It is true. What joy we will experience in having our children, won’t we? Bless their little hearts, I know so well that you will make me happy by a thousand little acts of kindness and attention and it will all be reciprocated if God spares me to return to you. Our sweet kiss will repay me for all my toil and anxiety and I know I shall be the happiest man living.
