Sabbath evening May 14th../65 My dear Aunt Tillie: You say you did not feel very much flattered because I called you that other, but really, honestly I think you have cause to, as most probably had I a dozen Aunt "Tillie's" you would be the dearest one. however they say "actions speak louder than words" and I will forthwith prove my love for you by trying, to the best of my ability, to fill this formidable (to me) sheet of paper for your especial edification. In the first place do you know I am about tired writing letters and receiving none? By the way do not think I am meaning you for to tell the truth you did a great deal better than could have been (Vertically, at head of page:-) I had almost forgotten to tell you that grandfather and I walked up to Lostant yesterday afternoon. you see I had nothing to occupy my time & attention, so concluded I would go, just for fun, if it did make me tired. kept up with Grand-pa all the time, and as it is six miles there & back I think I deserve a large amount of praise. But perhaps I have already repeated some Libbie has written, so will say no more now. much love to yourself and Uncle Sam, From your best niece, Bell Grim.
