fellow eat breakfast with you. I would prefer he didn't as that's almost being one of the family. So if you concur, you just let him get his breakfast at some restaurant on the way home. You can't furnish him two meals and bed and linen for $1.25 a day & make anything anyway. Let Wagoner board him if they want to, but I don't think I like you doing it. Too bad about Ruth hurting her back. She's just getting soft, that's all. She ought to be in the army and get hardened & toughened. Tell Max the $12.50 is OK. The "sunny south" isn't so sunny so far. But when the sun does shine here, it really bears down. The trees are all out in leaf now, although not full leaf. There aren't many birds here in camp, or if they are, they don't make much noise
