he took home and cashed there.
I got some fruit for Donald and took it up to him. He appeared to appreciate it very much. He is in good spirits but is unable to get any furlough or sick leave until the cast is taken off - and even then he may not get any until he is able to walk without danger of injuring the leg again. 
 Well, I get my furlough. It is for the 13th to the 21st inclusive.  I have to be back here for reveille on the 22nd. So I will leave Burlington the 21st at 6:40 AM and get back to Bringhurst at 10:04 Wednesday morning. This will me the 12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19-20 at home. 
  Boy, will it be grand to get home and see you folks and familiar places. 
  You had better plan to be off an extra day after I leave to rest up before going back to work. I suppose we will have to go to Fairfield, Bham & Keo. So can do that the first Sunday and Monday - or if you have any plans we can talk it over as soon as I get there
