a long, long time. I got your letters yesterday and today for the 22nd & 2 for the 24th and one of the 25th. Seems they bunched up some place on the way. Thanks for the drivers license. I will cash the U.S. Steel check as I have borrowed some from one of the boys and need it. Yes, Elma Haggs is a nice girl. Give her my regards the next time you see her. The interest on the note must be the $250.00 note on the Bham house. I don't see how the bond business could be very good, as low and sluggish as the market is and has been. But what could you expect from that Democrat we have on the Securities Exchange Commission -- Edward C. Eichy -- . . .
