and look after the upstairs.  So you think it over and then let me know what you think should be done.  We have a very nice set up here except it is so very dry and dusty.  We set up the pyramidal tents (2) three times.  We set them up once and then the orders came down that head-quarters should be set up apart from the living quarters, so we had to move them.  Then had to move them again because wee got a big [ward?] tent in which to have head-quarters and enlisted men to sleep in.  We are going to take a shower this evening.  I just smell like a goat, I'm so sweaty and dirty.  It looks now like we will go back to Claiborne, but we never know for sure.  Lt. Jesse L. Saar, Jr. - who is Jack Harbridge's nephew - and who mar-ried Ms. Conrad's (the [illegible] at Keo) daughter is with Company G of our Regiment and I see him about every day.  A very nice fellow - slender - not so very tall - with black hair, dark eyes and wears glasses.  I am returning Mother's [little?] for you to keep with this.
