3 Mon. Morning Dear Mamma, I missed the mail man Sat so will write more today. I had a nice time fishing yesterday. We had a nice picnic dinner, took bacon & eggs & fried them on a bon fire for our breakfast it was good, I fell in the water but it wasent very deep only 12 or 18 in deep. I was washing my hands & sliped in. What did you & the kids do yesterday. How is Mrs. Ward I sent Daddy another card today. Love John R.
