Ann Arbor, Mich March 29, 1942 Dearest Dorothea: The chicken came this morning and was it ever good. It wasn't spoiled at all, but it couldn't have gone a whole lot longer. But Ted and I and Lt Davis really put it away. I've got so many letters to answer that I guess I'll have to either answer them or get me a new desk to load things onto. Did you ever get up to Don's for the pheasant dinner, and how was it? I'm glad you and Art B are speaking again. I know that is a load off of your mind. That must be pretty tough of Glen and Frank to both have had TNT poison and hope they are OK now. No doubt the airplane factory work will be better for them, if they can get it. I've read Warren's letter and return it herein. I'll try and drop him a line, too. Give Doc Eisenhart my regards. I'm glad you got Carol's tooth out before the pus spread all through her system. I'll bet she was a good
