2-22-43 Dearest Dorothea, Two letters from you today. That's because we don't get any mail on Sunday. I'm glad the kids have the club house upstairs in the garage. But there should be some kind of a railing around the opening upstairs so they won't fall down, if there isn't one already. Such a play house will keep them at home and also keep them out of the house. Yes, you had better get a receipt from Vince - as otherwise we have nothing to show should the note burn up etc and it wasn't our check, so we won't get the cancelled check back. It's a good idea to always get a receipt and then if there is any question later - in case the bank personnel might change, or die, etc, you don't have to rely on the banker's word as to what you have paid, but have his own receipts to convince him. Enclosed are two receipts for payments on the house. I must have left that file there as I don't find it here. So put these in the bank box. The Creamery Certificate is in the bank box. Get it and send to me and I'll sign it and send to the Creamery for redemption. It is in one of the envelopes, I think. You can have Elmer Sutton renew the insurance but leave off the trailer clause. You sent me the wrong thing in the Sunshine Mining Company matter. There is probably a post card to be signed or something to be signed. This sheet just tells what it is about.
