It was nice of the Griesels to remember me. I'll try to drop them a line - but we have such little spare time - with lights out at 10:45 and so much reading to do. Lowell's statement is OK. Yes, have the bank give you a receipt. I suppose the check was for $341.80, wasn't it? and that should be the amount paid on the note. That helps some, doesn't it? I recall the Jamison's faintly. Glad Ruth Reere is coming to see you and too bad she can't spend the night with you. Yes, I hope you had a good time eating out Sunday. Where did you go? It probably would be very crowded, tho! I am sorry about the change in Van's plans but that is always the way it seems to work out. Had they shipped their stuff to San Diego yet? Or were they just going to rent furnished? Surely will throw them all out of gear, won't it? What is your funny feeling - that I will be kept on this side? Or that I won't? I'll fix up the Income Tax. Guess we'd better only pay the 1st quarter of federal. They may waive the rest. Love & kisses. Daddy. Glad mother is making i so good. JNC
