2-18-43 Dearest Dorothea: I am writing in haste as we had a very long assignment and I have very little time to get this off and in the mail. Enclosed find warrant from Van Buren County for $6.00 which has been endorsed to you. I received a letter from Mother, your Mother, Dan Griesel & Col Boal today and was very glad to hear from all of them. Glad Lowell Fuller sold the Packard stock and I guess it is either in the bank box or up with Vince for collateral. If the latter, then just have him apply the amount so received on the note and give you a receipt for it & send the receipt to me. Also, please have Lowell make out a statement showing the debits & credits on account of the sale & send that to me so I can keep my records up. Must hurry. Love & kisses Daddy
