JAG School Ann Arbor Mich. Friday, Feb 12, 1943 Dearest Dorothea: Another day. They have just blown "Tatoo" which is at 10: 15 and just 30 minutes until lights out. So will hurry this along. Hope you get along OK with Mrs. Reilly. I have met her but can't recall to mind just what she looks like now. Guess she is rather plump. Poor Glad is really having plenty of worry isn't she? She had better have her teeth x-rayed and then she can tell definitely whether they are abscessed and are the cause of her trouble. Then if they are, she had just as well have them out as soon as possible and keep from wearing herself down any more than necessary. We are plenty busy, Don't seem to get any time off. And don't seem to have accomplished a lot either. We had retreat parade tonight. it was real nice. We just study until lights out and then quit. What we don't get done we have to do the next day. I'll bet Mother was very happy to get her hair fixed, wasn't she? She's still pretty particular about her looks. Hope she uses some good judgment and doesn't overtax herself with her home work. Ted hasn't seen his family from Monday until tonight, even though they are only about 8 blocks from the school. So you know how much time they have together. But it is cheaper for them to be here than to have stayed in Chicago
