Camp Atterbury Teheran, Iran Sunday, 24 June 1945 Dear Sissy: I am sending you some pictures of Bethlehem where Christ was born. I've seen the same places which are shown by the pictures, when I was on my trip to Palestine. Mother writes that you are quite a lot of help to her in cooking and housekeeping. That's fine. Then when I come home you can take care of your daddy, can't you? How are you getting along with your piano lessons? I hope you can play very well by now. It is very warm here now. Nothing stays out in the sun very long during the day but they do their feeding and work in the early mornings or late afternoons. What do you want me to send you from here, if anything special? Do you ride the bicycle, or are you still too small? Love and kisses. Daddy
