when you get your money from the Remington Rand, there is $9.00 left on the one note. Shall I finish that one and then start on the other Ins. note? Or the $250.00 real Estate: Which one? We have just been swamped at the shop. I worked today until I thought I would drop. Wilma helped this afternoon and will help thurs, Friday and saturday I guess. Mrs Vaughn had a letter from Blanche today, saying the funeral will be tomorrow at two o'clock, so the brother that lives in California must be coming. That is a long time to hold him from Sat. until Wednesday. I don't look for Blanche until next week. The kids will sure be tickled with their dollar bills. They are buying defense stamps. They are doing nicely in school. Kids are all O.K. They have been enjoying the spring day immesensely. Grandma is pretty good. She is croquieting a rug now. She cleaned out all the drawers in the kitchen today. Ruthie is cleaning wall paper. It sure makes a difference. Everything is smoked black. I will be so glad to get it cleaned up. Have you heard anything yet? Be sure & call me when you do - must get to bed now Affectionately Yours Dorothea & Kiddies.
