with a heart attack. I guess it was a blessing though. They thought she might live for a year with the cancer. They had to make a false opening for her bowel through the side. Poor Lyman, I do feel awfully sorry for him. Just 4 mo since Nancy died. The funeral was this afternoon. She looked very badly. She was so thin. I think I got her hair fixed very well though. I didn't get through work until late Saturday night and then we decided to go to Fairfied. We left her around 8 o'clock. We arrived there about 9:30. I took your mother out to Herb's and saw Dorothy for a few minutes and then took the kids out home & went to bed. I was completely exhausted believe me. Dorothy looks real well, but isn't so very strong yet & hasn't been out of the house. We got up rather late this morning and then Shirley broke out with the measles and had to have the dinner at the folks. They had 6 pheasants. They were delicious. We all wished you could have been there too. John R was down to Don's Friday, so suppose he will get them too. I guess they are just the three day
