try & get the downstairs done tomorrow. Enclosed, is a check for $20.00 from U.S. Steel. How are you getting along financially? I guess I am doing all O.K. I must pay the first half of the taxes at both places. Don't worry about it. I will see to it. John R wants to join the Cubs. I guess I will let him. He will have to go down to the Bethany Lutheran Church on Division for his meetings I guess. But it isn't so far. Just have to keep him busy to keep him out of mischief. He is doing just fine in school. Clifford is a lot better. He is so cranky, though, you can hardly live with him. I guess he doesn't feel so well yet. Well, dearie, I just must get off to bed now. I still don't have the furnace fixed. Ok yes, Levenbergs called & asked if our apartment would be vacant soon, said they was hunting for an apartment or house & hadn't found any they liked nearly as well as ours. So maybe it wasn't so bad after all. Goodnight sweetie Hugs & Kisses Dorothea & Kiddies
