Burlington IA Mar 18, 1943 Thurs 2:45 My Dearest:- Rec'd your letter this morning and so glad to get it. I was rather worried about you. I know how busy you are though dear. I hope everything will come out all O.K. Don't worry too much about it. I forgot to enclose the receipt for the house, so will do so. We owe 1950.00 yet on it. Maybe we will get there some day- Clifford is still in bed. He had a temperature of 101 1/2 this morning. I am going to run out home in a few minutes & see how it is now. If it is still up, will have the Dr. It worries me. It is down on his chest and he coughs constantly. Poor little thing. As a result I am about worn out myself, for I can't sleep very well, when he is coughing. Well, it is snowing again. Can you beat it? I guess we are never going to have spring. I will sure be glad to see it. That was a cute little story you wrote to me. The girls got quite a kick out of it. I will pay the taxes next week, for
