Burlington, Ia Mar 17, 1943 My Dearest:- It is rather late, but I am going to take time to write you a few lines anyway. I have had a hectic day. This was my Wed. off so, I started out by going to the dentist at ten o'clock. He found two cavities. One was decayed around an old fillling & had to dig that out & refill. I think I was fortunate not to have any more, as it had been a year last Jan. since they were fixed. I have to go back later for cleaning. Then at eleven o'clock I went to the chiropodist. He took out four corns for me & also some calouisties. He charged $1.50, Not bad was it? Carol went with me. She was so good. She was afraid they were hurting me. My feet sure feel lots better! Mrs. Sellars washed today & didn't have time to hang them out, so I had to do that after I came back from town & then take in clothes & line down too. Then after supper Mrs. Sellars came over & we layed a piece of linoleum I bought from Marion. It was in her living room you remember? I am awfully worried about Clifford. He is still pretty sick & coughs constantly. If he isn't better by morning, I am going to phone the doctor. I didn't get but very little sleep last nite. We got a letter from Mrs. Delp, which I will enclose for you to read. Glen is in the service also. I haven't rec'd any letters from
