Burlington, Ia Sun 9 p. m. My Dearest:- At last I have found time to write you a letter. It is about the first time I have had all day long. This has been a hectic day for sure. I got home from the shop about 6 o'clock last nite and Herbert & Van's had just arrived. Nancy and Bobby came along. Van looks fine, but appeared to me is pretty disgusted with the whole thing. I think he is afraid he will be sent over. He got a nice leave. He has until Mar. 25th. He flew home & is going back that way too. Marjorie thinks now they will move into the house and sell theirs. She thinks they could sell theirs easier than the folks. I guess it will be quite a job. Marjorie was appointed administratrix. I imagine they were left with plenty of money don't you? Claude came up last nite and was here for supper too & stayed all night. The man in the back room was gone and he slept in there and the girl in the apartment went home & I asked them
