I intended to go to the bank today & pick up that receipt, but didn't make it. I will try to monday. Tomorrow is a very busy day. I am going to give winona a permanent & I have two hair dyes besides. The furnace has been acting up again. It has been puffing & gassing, so I had to order some more coal & I ordered it from Baker & told them to send a man out to check the furnace. I don't know what he found out. I will be so glad when this winter is over. I ordered four ton of coal & they will bring it monday. Your mother is all O.K. but gets tired easily. The kids have been home every afternoon this week on account of those ration books & about to wear her down. They are all O.K. I had to put a stop to them playing in the play house over the garage. They had such gangs up there & got to fighting so & using matches & candles & so told them they couldn't play their. There seems to be some bad boys in the neighborhood. Well darling I wish I could be with you tonight. It seems like ages since I saw you. I am saving up for you. I must go now. Loads & Hugs & Kisses Dorothea & Kiddies
