Burlington, Ia Feb. 19, 1943 My Dearest:- Just a few times before I call it a day - It has been a very long and strenuous one. I had a very busy day at the shop & also at home. Mrs. Sellars came to wash today and when she got through, she cleaned, but had to leave at three & didn't get done so I scrubbed the bath room & kitchen floors & waxed them and cleaned the ice box after. I got the kids to bed. They were all pretty tired tonight as they played but all evening. They have made a club house out of the upper story of the garage & do they even get dirty? Little tom boy Carol is right in for everything. Vince called me this afternoon & said Lowell had left the check for me to sign. So I went down & did it & turned the money over to Vince on that note. That is what you wanted to do, wasn't it? I forgot to get the record of sale, so Vince is going to mail it to me & I will send it on to you. I rec'd a notice from, Elmer Sutton about the car Ins. which will expire March 5th. Do you want to continue to take it? Enclosed is a card form the Keo Creamery which I don't understand. You tell me what to do, you also got some literature from Sunshine mining. I will enclose
