exemption receipt in the bank box & couldn't find it. I got the deed out and will go to the City Hall & file for Homestead exemptions right away. I thought sure I had put that paper in the bank box, but guess I didn't. They will make out another one from the deed. I rec'd two letters from you today one the 11th & the other the 12th Did you get your box? I am afraid they weren't so good. That was quite a Mexican story wasn't it? I let the girls read it & am sending it back to you. also the air mail instructions. The fellow who rooms with you don't get much time to see his wife does he? Mary Kippe is here getting her hair fixed now. She hasn't heard from Al for quite a while & is worried about him. She says it came over the air, that a medical division was captured by the Italians & she is afraid he was in that bunch. Tina Arnold was in today & they havn't heard from Dick for a long time either. Such anxiety people have. She gave me the low down on Jeri Reeve's marriage. She says he is foreign of some kind, but a nice fellow and had a good education and his folks have money. He had stayed at Reeve's
