Feb. 17th My Dearest: Your letter of the 13th received today. It was a little slow in arriving. I want to tell you, I filed for the Homestead exemption yesterday and went to the bank & got your Packard Certificate & delivered it to Lowell. He said you got 3 5/8 How much did you make on it? Lowell was to deliver the check to Cullen at the bank and I am to go there & sign for it. I mean endorse it & Cullen will apply it on what you owe. Lowell said he would leave receipt there with check. Shall I mail it to you or keep it here? Lowell said your orders were to send all mail to home address. He says there will be a lot of your stuff sold right away now, as the market is going up. Isn't that something? He says I will be running down there signing every little while he expects. This is a beautiful day, after the cold spell. The sun is out strong, and it is thawing. I hope it will take all the ice & snow off. I haven't heard anything more from Dorothy
